How do I find my ProSeries data files?
Solution
In ProSeries, the default client data folders are (where X represents the drive where ProSeries is installed):
  • ProSeries Default = X:\ProWin08\08Data
  • ProSeries Basic Edition Default = X:\BasWin08\08Data
To verify the default location in your ProSeries installation:
  1. Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
  2. On the left select Directories. The current year and prior year default directories will be listed.
If you still cannot find your files, try using the Windows operating system to search for files with the ProSeries file extensions. The file extensions for Tax Year 2008 are listed below.
