Does Santa Barbara Bank & Trust (SBBT) have registration deadlines?
Solution
If you wish to offer SBBT bank products for the upcoming 2010 tax season (2009 tax returns), you must first enroll with SBBT. To enroll for the upcoming 2010 tax season, login to My ProSeries, click SBBT Enrollment Form and follow the on-screen instructions. Below are important SBBT enrollment deadlines:
Enrollment for New to Industry* Clients
Enrollment for New to Industry Clients wanting RALs is open until 11/30/2009. New to Industry EROs applying on 12/1/2009 through 12/31/2009 will be considered for RT Only. New to Industry EROs applying on 1/1/2010 or later will be placed in the HELD status and will not be able to process SBBT bank products in 2010.
* Tax Professionals who did not offer bank products last year through their EFIN.
Enrollment for New to SBBT** Clients
Enrollment for New to SBBT Clients wanting RALs is open until 12/22/2009. New to SBBT Clients applying on 12/23/2009 through 1/9/2010 will be considered for RT Only. New to SBBT EROs applying on 1/10/2010 or later will be placed in the HELD status and will not be able to process SBBT bank products in 2010.
** Tax Professionals who offered bank products last year through their EFIN using another RAL Bank
Prior Year SBBT Clients
Prior Year SBBT Clients will be eligible for RALs until 1/31/2010. Prior Year SBBT Clients applying on 2/1/2010 will only be considered for RT Only.
2009 Tax Season (2008 Tax Returns)
New to Industry
- Enrollment for new to industry clients (first time offering bank products) wanting RALs is open until 11/30/2008.

New to industry EROs applying on 12/1/2008 through 12/31/2008 will be considered for RTs only.

New to industry EROs applying on 1/1/2009 or later will be placed in the HELD status and will not be able to process SBBT bank products in 2009 (TY08).
New to SBBT
