Situation
The error "Windows XP requires Service Pack 2.0 or later in order to install .NET 2.0" may occur when attempting to install the 2007 ProSeries software on a computer running Windows XP Service Pack 1 or Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1.
The 2007 ProSeries software uses some Microsoft components, such as .NET which require Service Pack 2.
Solution
Upgrade Windows XP Service Pack 1 or Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 to Service Pack 2.
For more information about upgrading your computer's operating system, please consult your computer technician or visit the Microsoft Web site.
After upgrading to Service Pack 2, you should be able to install the 2007 ProSeries software.
