ProSeries Frequently Asked Questions

In some instances, you may need to install Microsoft .NET Framework on your computer's hard drive, if it is not already installed or is not functioning properly. This would normally be done at the request of a ProSeries support agent. To install .NET Framework, follow the instructions below:

1. Insert the latest 2007 ProSeries or ProSeries Basic Edition CD into your CD drive. If the installation dialog box automatically appears, click Exit to cancel the installation process.
2. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to \pro07\NET on the CD.
3. Double-click on the dotnetfx or dotnetfx.exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Network Users Without the ProSeries CD

1. If you do not have your CD, but have 2007 ProSeries network version installed on your network, then navigate to: \ProNet07\WKSTN\NET
2. Double-click on the dotnetfx or dotnetfx.exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Notes: You may need to restart windows after installing Microsoft .NET Framework.
