Solution
We have not been able to process your ProSeries order with the credit card information provided. Login to My ProSeries and use our online chat option to contact Customer Service.

If you have verified your order has processed and you are still unable to license, ProSeries may be unable to update the license file, entitlementdatastore.ecml. You may be able to correct this error by deleting this file and licensing your products online:
  1. Close ProSeries.
  2. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the following location:
    • For ProSeries 2008 programs - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v5
    • For ProSeries 2007 programs - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v5
    • For ProSeries 2006 programs - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v4
    • For ProSeries 2006 on Windows Vista - C:\Program Data\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v4
Note: Application Data is a hidden folder.
  3. Delete the file entitlementdatastore.ecml.
  4. Open ProSeries.
  5. Go to the Tools menu and select License Products.
  6. In the License Products window, select Online and click OK.
  7. Review the products in your license. If the products are correct, you have resolved the issue. If you do not have the correct ProSeries products or you still receive the error, please contact ProSeries Customer Service at (800) 374-7317. Please tell the agent you need to verify your order and entitlements due to an issue with your licensing.

NOTE: After licensing 2008 you will have to re-license 2007 ProSeries.  You may also need to reregister QuickBooks 2008, and QuickBooks 2009.  For information on how to register QuickBooks please click here.
