It is important that you keep
your software up-to-date by downloading and installing the
latest product updates available online.
To download and install the latest updates from within
ProSeries, go to the Update menu and select Update
Installed Products.
After installing an update, we recommend that you view
the ReadMe information within the ProSeries Help Center.
The ReadMe for each module contains information regarding
issues to be aware of, tax legislation issues and more.

To avoid duplicate PPR charges, please make sure the Social
Security Number (SSN), Client Name, and Employer Identification

First $2,400 of Unemployment Benefits Tax Free for 2009
On March 26, 2009, the IRS issued News Release IR-2009-29,
announcing that all or part of unemployment benefits received
in 2009 will be tax free for many unemployed workers.

Returns
with Form 3468 and Form 5405 Can Be E-Filed
The IRS began accepting e-filing of returns with Form 3468
claiming the Investment Credit, and Form 5405 claiming the
First-Time Homebuyer Credit of $8,000 for homes bought in
2009, with the 6 PM drain on March 30, 2009.
