CRITICAL ALERTS!

EF Status May Not Always Update
In some instances, after converting and transmitting a return the EF status still displays "Return Marked for EF" instead of "Return Transmitted for EF." This situation can usually be corrected by opening and saving the return.

Error Message: "Need to be in the HomeBase View"
When attempting to import data from QuickBooks into a tax year 2007 ProSeries federal tax program you receive the error message: "Need to be in the HomeBase View." This situation will be corrected in an update anticipated to be available online on or about January 29, 2008.

Error Message: "Unable to Read Database Information for this Item"
When attempting to print a check you receive the error message: "Unable to read database information for this item" and/or the Bank Products Status field is blank in HomeBase. Learn more

Federal Form W-2 Worksheet Error About Indiana Withholding
An error message is displayed on the federal W-2 Worksheet when a return is marked for Indiana electronic filing and an amount more than 8% of the Indiana wages is entered in Box 17. Learn more

Arizona Partnership Form 165, Lines H-L Not Printing Correctly
On Arizona Partnership, Form 165, page 1, lines H through L are printing incorrectly when Form 165 is printed. Learn more

California Form 565 or Form 568, Line 19 May Be Incorrect
If your partnership or limited liability company return had qualified start up costs for a new pension plan, then when you transfer to the California Partnership or California Limited Liability Company products, the amount that appears on line 19 of Form 565 or Form 568, will be the same amount reported on federal Form 1065, line 18. This will cause an out of balance condition on the state products because this is a federal credit. Learn more
