Tax Planner Does Not Include Amount From Schedule K-1 (Trusts), Line 5

Situation

In a Form 1040 return, the amount from a Schedule K-1 (Trust), line 5 does not flow to the rents, royalties, pass-through line on the Tax Planner.

Workaround

1. Double-click the Rents, royalties, pass-through line to access the Rents, Royalties, Pass-through Entities, and Other Income worksheet.
2. Override the Estates and trust line and enter the corrrect amount.
