Connecticut Higher Education Trust Account Number Message on Form CT-1040X

Situation

On Connecticut Form CT-1040X, Amended Income Tax Return for Individuals, an incorrect error message is displayed when the Connecticut Higher Education Trust (CHET) account number entered is less than 14 digits.

Solution

This situation was corrected in the Connecticut Individual update that became available online on March 21, 2007.

Download and install this update, if you have not already done so. (Go to the Update menu and select Update Installed Products.)
