Form 1040 Two Year Comparison, Phaseout Amount for Itemized Deductions Is Incorrect

Situation

On the Form 1040 Two Year Comparison, the phaseout amount for itemized deductions in column 2006 is incorrectly pulling the amount from the Itemized Deductions Worksheet, line 9 instead of line 11.

Solution

This situation will be corrected in the Federal 1040 update anticipated to be available online on or about March 19, 2007.

Download and install this update when it becomes available. (Go to the Update menu and select Update Installed Products.)
