ProSeries Frequently Asked Questions

Federal Form 1040NR, Tax Payments Worksheet, First Quarter State and Local Due Dates Are 4/18/2006

Situation

After downloading and installing the ProSeries/1040NR (2006.01) update that became available online on February 27, 2007, the first quarter State and Local due dates are 4/18/06 on the Tax Payments Worksheet for new returns.

These dates may not be correct if the state in question did not retroactively accept the due date based on Emancipation Day.

Workaround

On the Tax Payments Worksheet, manually enter the correct due dates for the first quarter in the State and Local columns.
