Form 1040 Client Letter Does Not Reflect Electronic Payment of Estimated Tax Payments

Situation

The Form 1040 client letter does not reflect that all four estimated tax payments will be paid electronically as indicated on the Estimated Tax Worksheet (1040ES Worksheet).

Solution

This situation is corrected in the Federal 1040 update that became available online on March 5, 2007. 

Download and install this update, if you have not already done so. (Go to the Update menu and select Update Installed Products.)

Workaround (prior to update) 

Edit the client letter to reflect the payments being made.
