Form 1040 Does Not Include NOL From Form 1041 Schedule K-1 Worksheet

Situation

Form 1040, line 21, Other Income, does not include the net operating loss (NOL) carryover from Form 1041 Schedule K-1 Worksheet, line 11D.

Solution

This situation was corrected in the Federal 1040 update that became available online on March 5, 2007.

Download and install this update, if you have not already done so. (Go to the Update menu and select Update Installed Products.)

Workaround (prior to update)

Enter the information on the Other Income Statement, line 7.
