ProSeries Frequently Asked Questions

Dependent's Birth Year Does Not Transfer to the 2006 Federal Information Worksheet

• ProSeries/1040
• ProSeries Express/1040
• ProSeries Basic/1040

If you entered only a dependent's birth year on the Federal Information Worksheet in the 2005 ProSeries software, the birth year does not transfer to the Federal Information Worksheet in the 2006 ProSeries software. If you entered a dependent's full date of birth, the dependent's full date of birth will transfer.

You will need to manually enter the dependent's date of birth on the Federal Information Worksheet in the 2006 ProSeries software.
