"Estringlist Error" When Clicking on the Scan Button in DMS

Situation

After installing the 2006 ProSeries Document Management System (DMS) update, some users may receive an "estringlist error" when clicking on the Scan button in the DMS program.

Workaround

If you receive this error, follow these steps:

  1. Uninstall the DMS program using Windows.
    1. On the Windows Start menu, click Settings and Control Panel.
    2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
    3. Select the entry for the DMS program, then click Remove.
  2. Restart the computer and reinstall the 2006 DMS program from the CD.

This situation has been reported to our development team and they are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
