Tax Returns Are Not Printing to DMS If the "Prompt for DMS Folder" Box is Checked

Situation

Tax returns are not printing to ProSeries Document Management System (DMS) if the "Prompt for DMS Folder" box is checked in ProSeries or ProSeries Express.

Workaround

If you are experiencing this situation, follow these steps:

  1. In ProSeries or ProSeries Express, go to the File menu and select Print Options.
  2. In the Printer Center dialog box, select Printer, PDF, and DMS Settings.
  3. In the Document Management System (DMS) section, uncheck the Prompt for DMS Folder box, and click OK.
  4. Print the tax return to DMS.

This situation has been reported to our development team and they are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
