Printing Password-Protected Client Files to DMS

When a ProSeries or ProSeries Express Edition password-protected client file is printed to the ProSeries Document Management System (DMS), only the client password is transferred to DMS.

In ProSeries and ProSeries Express Edition, you can set both a master password to access all protected client files and a client password for each client. The master password does not transfer to DMS and cannot be used to access a password-protected client file in DMS.

Note: If you do not remember the client password, go to the ProSeries program and open the client file using the master password. Change the client password by selecting Add/Change Client Password from the Tools menu. Print the client file to DMS and use the new client password to access the file in DMS.
