SBBT Bank Product Users - Remember to Transmit Check Status Information

After printing a Santa Barbara Bank and Trust (SBBT) bank product check, it is very important that you transmit the check status information back to SBBT. The check status information is necessary so SBBT can match disbursements to printed check numbers. Failure to transmit this information may present difficulties for your clients when they attempt to cash their check.

To transmit the check status information:

  1. Go to the Bank Product Client tab or the HomeBase Bank Products view.
  2. Go to the E-File/Bank Products menu or the E-File menu and point to Bank Products.
  3. Choose Transmit Check Status Information. The check status information will then be transmitted electronically to SBBT for all records that show Yes in the Transmit Required column of the Bank Product Client tab or the HomeBase Bank Products view.

Note: You can automatically transmit check status information when you print or adjust checks by checking the Transmit Check Status information to the Bank box.
