ProSeries Frequently Asked Questions

Why are there files ending in .jn1 in the folder 06Data?

Products Affected:

• ProSeries/Network Version
• ProSeries Express Edition/Network Version

The files with the extension of .jn1 are located in the 06Data folder. For every client data file created, a related file is also created with the same file name and extension of .jn1. These files are used for reconciling HomeBase across the network.

Note: These files only appear with a network installation.

There is no reason to delete these files and we recommend not doing so. Deleting these files can result in the loss of data and cause HomeBase to work incorrectly.
