Invalid or Incorrect Parameter Error When Restoring Client Files

If you receive an invalid or incorrect parameter error when you attempt to restore client files from a CD:

  1. Close ProSeries.
  2. Copy the client files from the CD to another location, such as the Windows desktop.
  3. Select all the files then right-click on the files and select Properties.
  4. On the General tab, under Attributes, uncheck the box for Read-only. Click Apply and then OK.
  5. Restore the clients from the files in this new location that have the read-only attribute removed.
