Resolving Font Problems

Products Affected:

• ProSeries
• ProSeries Express Edition
• ProSeries Basic Edition

Situation

You receive a message to install fonts or extra letters, such as G or A, are printed on the tax forms.

Workarounds

• If you moved the ProSeries program from one computer to another, please reinstall ProSeries from a CD or a download file.
• In some instances this situation may be corrected by opening and closing your Fonts folder and verifying you have the Courier New font. Follow these instructions:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, select Control Panel, and double-click Fonts.
  2. Double-click the item Courier New. This should display "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. 1234567890" in various sizes.
  3. From the File menu, select Close.
