Products Affected:

HomeBase Tune-Up reindexes your client file database. Running HomeBase Tune-Up helps ensure the integrity of your HomeBase client file database, and can fix problems such as garbled characters appearing in HomeBase. The HomeBase Tune-Up runs every time you run any Task Scheduler function.

To run HomeBase Tune-Up immediately or if you don't normally use Task Scheduler:

  1. Close ProSeries.
  2. Go to the Start menu, point to Programs, then your edition of the 2006 ProSeries program, and select HomeBase Tune-Up. The HomeBase Tune-Up will start, however, nothing is displayed on the screen.
  3. When HomeBase Tune-Up is finished, you will receive the message HomeBase Tune-Up is complete. Click OK.
  4. Network users should repeat these steps on each workstation.
