ProSeries Frequently Asked Questions

Why doesn't ProSeries support the 5500 Forms?

Products Affected:

• ProSeries Tax Products
• ProSeries Express Edition Tax Products
• ProSeries Basic Edition Tax Products

ProSeries, ProSeries Express Edition, and ProSeries Basic Edition do not support the 5500 forms. We haven’t supported these products in the past because the demand from our customer base is very low. As a result, we have chosen to put our resources to work on what’s most important to you, including other products, features, and enhancements to our existing products.

If you are interested in filing these returns, you can use Lacerte Benefit Plan/5500 on a pay-per-return basis or ProSeries/Forms Library.
