On March 23, 2007, Santa Barbara Bank & Trust (SBBT) issued the following notice regarding SBBT bank product cut-off dates:
"As we near the end of the tax season, we want you to be aware of the last day you can process products through SBBT. You can download a form from our website which indicates product end dates, but for your convenience we are providing the information below. The following indicates the last day of each bank product that will be processed by SBBT:
Last day for RAL/RT Advances:
- Saturday, March 31, 2007; any requests coming in AFTER that date will not be accepted.
Last day for RALs:
- RAL requests must be IRS accepted and received at SBBT by Tuesday, April 24, 2007. Any RAL requests received on Wednesday, April 25 and thereafter will be automatically converted to a Refund Transfer.
Last day for Refund Transfers (RTs):
- Wednesday, October 31, 2007.
Last day to issue SBBT Cash Cards for RALs/RTs (if applicable):
- Sunday, May 6, 2007. After this date, requests for these disbursements will switch to ERO office printed check (or bank printed, if applicable). NOTE: Cash cards will expire on May 31, 2007. The account will close and any balances left on the card over $14.95 will generate a cashier’s check. Checks will be mailed to the taxpayer via first class mail.
Last day for checks printed in ERO office:
- Tuesday, October 16, 2007. After this date, SBBT will print and mail checks directly to the taxpayer via first class mail. NOTE: Any Tax Professionals intending to move out of your office or stop using your computer prior to this date MUST NOTIFY SBBT ON THE LAST DAY YOU ARE PRINTING CHECKS. Please contact us only on that day; it is important that we do not continue to send check print records to your site.
Last day to process ACH Direct Deposits for RALs/RTs (if applicable):
- Monday, December 31, 2007. After this date, SBBT will print and mail checks directly to the taxpayer via first class mail for any prior year accounts regardless of original disbursement method."
