Will the 2006 ProSeries software included in the evaluation package run
on the Windows Vista operating system?

The 2006 ProSeries software included in the evaluation package is not designed
to run on the Windows Vista operating system. However, you will be able to
run the 2006 ProSeries software using the Windows Vista administrator option.
During the ProSeries installation process, if you get the Windows Vista
compatibility prompt, check the Run this program as an administrator
box and click OK.
If you do not get this prompt or the 2006 ProSeries software is already
installed on your computer, you can right-click on the ProSeries icon or shortcut,
and then choose Run as administrator.
Notes:
- If you get the Driver Installation Error: "Windows can't
install the Amyuni Document Converter 2.10 kernel-mode print driver. To
obtain a driver that is compatible with the version of Windows you are running,
contact the manufacturer." click OK to ignore this message.
- If you get the System Warning: "...ProSeries is not designed
to run on Microsoft's Vista operating system, and if you continue you may
experience compatibility issues." check the I wish to continue with the
installation and acknowledge that I may not receive technical support for
issues I may encounter using ProSeries Evaluation 2006. box and click
Next to ignore this message.
- Some QuickBooks integration features may not function properly
in the 2006 ProSeries software when running on the Windows Vista operating
system.
- The 2006 ProSeries software will not run properly when
using the Windows Vista administrator option in a pre-release version of
Windows Vista (Beta 2, RC1, or RC2).
