Update Required for Electronic Filing - Unable to Update ProSeries

Situation
When you attempt to electronically file a return, you receive a message to update. When you try to update from within a ProSeries product, you receive a message that no updates were found.
Workaround
Manually download and install the latest version of the ProSeries product.
- Go to this Web page.
- When the Web page displays, select the Tax Year and Tax Product Family to see a list of available products to download.
- From the list of products, click the Download button for the product you want to download.
- Save the download file and install the product. (More detailed instructions.) If you need more than one product, each product will need to be downloaded and installed separately.
- Product licensing is required before you can print or electronically file returns.
Notes
- Products that aren't licensed for unlimited use can be used on a Pay-Per-Return basis.

- You cannot run ProSeries and ProSeries Express products on the same computer.
