Tip: Indicate the Type of 1099-R on the Form 1099-R Worksheet

Products Affected:

• ProSeries/1040
• ProSeries Express/1040
• ProSeries Basic/1040

You do not need to translate the boxes from Forms 1099-R, CSA-1099-R, CSF-1099-R, and RRB-1099-R to the appropriate boxes on the Form 1099-R Worksheet. Simply check the appropriate box at the top of the Form 1099-R Worksheet to indicate the type of form being entered.

After you check the appropriate box, the text on the screen will automatically change depending on which box is checked. The payer federal ID, name, and address will automatically flow to the Form 1099-R Worksheet for Forms CSA-1099-R, CSF-1099-R, and RRB-1099-R.
